2022 Election: 9th Congressional District

This November McHenry County voters weighed in on four of Illinois’ 18 congressional and one U.S. Senate race.

Several McHenry County, state and federal races are on the ballot in this year's midterm, including the governor's race and an amendment to the Illinois Constitution.

The race for Illinois governor won’t be the only one on Tuesday’s ballot. With the redrawing of the state’s political maps, the make-up of the entire McHenry County Board and both the U.S. and Illinois houses of representatives will be determined, along several other races.

Democratic U.S. Rep. Jan Schakowsky's campaign fundraising total from the last three months is a fraction of what some other members of the Illinois delegation raked in -- but it still towers over what Max Rice, her Republican opponent in the 9th District, collected.

The League of Women Voters of Glenview-Glencoe will host a candidate forum for the U.S. Congressional District 9 race this Monday with Republican Max Rice and Democrat Jan Schakowsky.
