McHenry County Clerk election news for 2022 from the Northwest Herald and Shaw Local
Incumbent Joe Tirio, a Republican, faced off against Democrat Mary Mahady for the McHenry County clerk’s race, a role which also includes the county recorder’s office.
Several McHenry County, state and federal races are on the ballot in this year's midterm, including the governor's race and an amendment to the Illinois Constitution.
