2022 Election Primary: Illinois House 66th District news
By a margin of just 69 votes, Connie Cain is on track to be the Republican nominee for the 66th House District in Illinois after her opponent, Arin Thrower, conceded the race Wednesday evening.
These are the unofficial election results for contested races across McHenry County as of about 12:45 a.m. Wednesday.
Following Tuesday’s primary, unofficial vote totals for the 66th House District show a very close race, Connie Cain is currently ahead of Arin Thrower as they vie for the chance to face incumbent state Rep. Suzanne Ness, D-Crystal Lake, in November.
The incumbent is leading in one of two contested legislative primaries in McHenry County while just 64 votes, or less than a percentage point, separated the Republican candidates in the race for the 66th House District.
