The Lockport Township High School District 205 Board of Education voted to approve a contract for the ceiling replacement at Lockport Central, which will allow the campus to reopen in fall

The Lockport Township High School District 205 Board of Education held an informational meeting on May 13 to discuss options for funding needed repairs and renovations to Central Campus following the failure of an $85 million bond referendum in March.

The question of the bonds has divided the Joliet council at times with some members saying it's too risky to take on debt with the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the economy.
