Cruise Night

Cloggin’ Craze Dancers and Stacy Sienko will perform Thursday as part of "Concerts on the Hill" at the Billie Limacher Bicentennial Park Theatre in Joliet.

Yorkville River Fest will include a variety of music, food and activities for families and friends to enjoy this summer.

In addition to being a fun time for car enthusiasts, local businesses benefit from the many visitors it brings to the downtown area.

With the start of summer comes the return of community cruise nights throughout Will County. Lockport and Plainfield events kick off this week.

The Streator Cruise Night, hosted by Dream Machines Car Club, brought thousands to downtown Streator to display their classic cars, local food vendors, live music and more.

The Morris Cruise Night held its monthly event on Aug. 12.

The cruise night is open to all special-interest cars, trucks, tractors and motorcycles. Cost is $5 a carload. The cruise night starts at 2 p.m. Tractor pulls begin at 5 p.m.

There will be food, beer, live music and dash plaques.
