A local Boy Scout from Troop 63 spent his summer working with the mayor and members of the city staff to design a new flag for the City of Lockport.

Sugar Grove resident Christopher Eby chose to replace a dilapidated shed for the Sugar Grove United Methodist Church (SGUMC) as his Eagle Project for Sugar Grove Boys Scouts of America Troop No. 41.

A gaga ball pit is set to join the line-up of Vaile Park’s recently unveiled playground, thanks to 17-year-old Gab Buelvas.

Gab Buelvas, 17, of Dixon, lead a group of about 15 volunteers in building a gaga ball pit for Vaile Park on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2023. The gaga ball pit was Buelvas' Eagle Scout project.
