St. Paul Lutheran and Immanuel Lutheran churches in Dixon have formed a partnership by sharing co-pastors – Anthony Windau and his wife, Riley Reed-Windau.

Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church celebrated the ordination of its new pastor, Zackary Zuberbier, on June 30.

A Lutheran church in Joliet raised $300,000 that was sought after by a court-appointed receiver. The receiver is recovering funds that federal officials said were misused by a Minooka company.

A Joliet church has until Nov. 15 to pay $300,000 owed to a court-appointed receiver who is working to recover investor money that federal authorities said was misused by a fraudulent business owner. Church officials said they committed no wrongdoing yet they must still pay.

A reception will follow the performance by the noted musician and composer, all part of the ongoing 150th anniversary celebrations at the church this year.
