Oregon advances to Jan. 25 sectional at Dixon's Plum Hollow Lanes

Lots of energy and aggressiveness on both ends of the court set the tone for Dixon on Thursday night at the Blackhawk Center.

Oregon won the 17-team Polo Wrestling Invitational with 217.5 points, edging runner-up Fulton (212). West Carroll (104.5) took fourth, Polo (89.5) was eighth and Erie-Prophetstown (65) was 10th among area teams.

Oregon defeated Morrison 60-47 on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025 at the Blackhawk Center in Oregon. The Hawks were led by Nole Campos's 17 points and Cooper Johnson's 15. Morrison's Asher Ernst led all scorers with 19.

Oregon held on for a Big Northern Conference road win at Rock Falls as the Hawks made impact plays down the stretch in a 55-53 win.
