Starbucks is relocating to the former Sandberg building in downtown Wheaton

The Princeton City Council meet Tuesday to discuss an ordinance approving the final plat of Michael's Plaza Subdivision with a proposal for Aldi's and Starbucks at the southeast corner of Backbone and Main Street. Starbucks expects to break ground next month with Aldi's construction beginning in the Spring of 2025.

The plan before the City Council for the drive-thru coffee shop on Essington Road faced opposition from a neighboring preschool that has been there for 30 years.
