Harvey is a sweet 4-year-old terrier mix that recently lost his family after his owner died. Harvey is a very well-behaved dog that knows his basic commands: sit, paw, down and stay. He enjoys walking and playing. He does well with other dogs and children. He has never lived with a cat and is scared of them. Harvey would make a wonderful family member. Lightning Bug is an adorable and quirky 1-year-old cat that was found loose outside NAWS by a volunteer. She is interactive, curious, chatty and silly. She loves to be petted and will ask for attention. But once she’s had enough or gets overstimulated, she will let people know and may use her paws or mouth to communicate that. She is still young and hasn’t learned appropriate social skills yet. She needs an adopter experienced with cat behaviors. Lightning Bug is not shy and has plenty of confidence. To meet Lightning Bug, email Catadoptions@nawsus.org. Visit nawsus.org.
