Boys basketball

Lockport 69, Sandburg 42: Collin Miller had an explosive night for the Porters with 30 points and seven rebounds with six 3-pointers in a win over Sandburg on Monday.

Oak Forest 64, Providence 36: Kelechi Enyia and Seth Cheney each scored 13 points for the Celtics.

Fieldcrest 77, Dwight 63: Fieldcrest finished with four players in double figures as Dwight dropped a tough one.

Seneca 74, Putnam County 38: Seneca moved to 8-1 overall and 2-0 in conference play. Paxton Giertz (19 points), Cam Shriey (16) and Brayden Simek (12) led the way.

Girls basketball

Lockport 49, Sandburg 32: The Porters picked up a home win.

Romeoville 53, Plainfield East 47: The Romeoville girls were led by Kazaria Smith with 37 points.

Prairie Central 58, Coal City 53: The Coalers dropped a game at Fairbury.

Dwight 47, Henry-Senachwine 45: The Trojans picked up a win on the road.

St. Bede 48, Seneca 35: Seneca was led by Alyssa Zellers and Audry McNabb with 10 points apiece.

Gardner-South Wilmington 44, Judah Christian 23: GSW picked up its fourth win of the season behind Maddie Simms’ 25-point game.

Wilmington 72, Sharpsville 34: The Wildcats earned a dominant win at the Iroquois West Tournament;

Morris 65, Illinois Valley Central 48: Morris was led by Landrie Callahan (27 points, 15 rebounds, four blocks), Lily Hansen (11 points, 10 rebounds) and Layken Callahan (13 points).

Boys bowling

Lockport 1,891, Lincoln-Way East 1,775: Evan Charest led the Porters with a 406 series.

Joliet Central 3,133, Plainfield North 2,800: The Steelmen were led by Ethen Van Ness with his 265 game and 696 series, both personal bests.
