Reed-Custer 67, Gardner-South Wilmington 39: At Gardner, senior Jacob Reardon poured in 24 points and hauled down 17 rebounds as the Comets took the nonconference contest from the Panthers. Freshman Matthew Kuban tallied 18 points and senior Dominic Eddy added nine for R-C (2-7).
Cole Hampson scored 21 points and added 10 boards for GSW (1-10).
Minooka 61, Bremen 35: At Midlothian, Rhett Harris scored 10 points and Jaden Boe added 10 to lead the Indians to the nonconference win. Zane Caves added seven points, nine rebounds and two steals as Minooka improved to 5-4.
Girls basketball
Lockport 56, Riverside-Brookfield 29: At Oak Lawn, the Porters improved to 13-0 with the win over the Bulldogs at the Oak Lawn Lady Spartan Holiday Tournament. A 26-0 run in the second half fueled the win.
Lockport will play in the tournament title game on Saturday.
Providence Catholic 64, Hillcrest 36: At Chicago Heights, the Celtics picked up their second win of the Marian Catholic Tournament with the win over the Hawks. Molly Knight scored 19 points and Taylor Healy added 15 for Providence Catholic (6-5), which will face Fenwick at 4 p.m. Friday.
Lincoln-Way East 50, St. Laurence 34: At Chicago Heights, the Griffins moved into the title game of the Marian Catholic Tournament with the win over the Vikings. LWE (8-4) will face Marian Catholic at 5:30 Friday in the championship game.
Romeoville 80, Thornwood 43: At Oak Lawn, the Spartans picked up their first win at the Oak Lawn Lady Spartan Holiday Tournament to improve to 4-6 overall.
Seneca 45, Serena 40: At Serena, the Lady Irish outscored the Huskers 19-10 in the second quarter to take the nonconference contest. Alyssa Zellers scored 18 points, Audry McNabb eight and Tessa Krull six for Seneca (9-3).
Iroquois West 52, Gardner-South Wilmington 30: At Gilman, the Panthers placed seventh in the Iroquois West Tournament. Grace Olsen scored 13 points to lead GSW (4-11). Maddie Simms added six and Madison Wright five for the Panthers.
Wilmington 42, Peotone 30: At Gilman, the Wildcats placed second at the Iroquois West Tournament with the win over the Blue Devils. Sami Liaromatis and Skylar Rossow made the all-tournament team as Wilmington improved to 10-4.

Joliet Central 2,997, Plainfield Central 2,615: At Plainfield, Anthony Kantor had a 672 series with games of 223 and 249. Garrett Johnson added a 237 game for the Steelmen.

Seneca 62, Pontiac 15: At Pontiac, Ryker Terry, Avery Phillips, Nick Grant, and Landen Venecia won matches for the Irish in the tri-meet.
Reed-Custer 41, Seneca 36: At Pontiac, Colton Drinkwine, Cole Harris, Jayden Sanchez, Jeremy Eggleston, Reed Newbrough, Nathan Vogler and Dominic Alaima won matches for the Comets. Raiden Terry, Ryker Terry, Ryan Flynn, Gunner Varland and Jeremy Gagnon joined Phillips and Venecia as winners for Seneca.
