The Will County Continuum of Care, a collaborative focused on ending homelessness in Will, Kendall and Grundy counties, will remember lives lost to homelessness at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, at New Life Lutheran Church, 249 N. Bolingbrook Drive in Bolingbrook.

As the winter cold hits the area and the night reaches its longest point, neighbors experiencing homelessness become more vulnerable, according to a news release announcing the event.

Homelessness is a dangerous, life-threatening experience.

On the longest night of the year, the Continuum of Care invites the public to attend the memorial and remember those who have died without a home this year.
