Providence Catholic 49, St. Rita 44: At Chicago, Seth Cheney led the Celtics with 21 points as the Celtics earned the nonconference win. AJ Rayford added nine for PC (2-7).
Oswego 53, Joliet Central 35: At Joliet, the Steelmen dropped an SPC contest to the Panthers.
Minooka 53, Romeoville 51: At Romeoville, Jaden Boe hit the game-winning bucket with under 10 seconds to play to lift the Indians to the win in the SPC. Boe, Jordan Freeman and Brayden Hairald scored 12 points each for Minooka (6-5, 2-4).
Bolingbrook 81, Plainfield East 38: At Plainfield, Davion Thompson scored 24 points to lead the Raiders to the big win over the Bengals. JT Pettigrew added 12 and Brady Pettigrew added 10 for the Brook who improved to 9-1 overall and 5-0 in the SWSC.
Lincoln-Way Central 66, Lincoln-Way West 56: At New Lenox, Korey Cagnolatti scored 17 to lead the Knights to the SWSC win over the Warriors. Alexander Panos added 16 as LWC improved to 7-3 overall and 4-2 in conference play. West was led by Nick Brezniak with 16 and Wyatt Carlson 15. West dropped to 5-4 overall and 2-2 in the SWSC.
Seneca 67, Midland 41: At Seneca, Paxton Giertz continued his climb up the all-time scoring list for the Irish. He poured in 30 to lead Seneca to the Tri-County Conference win. Seneca improved to 9-1 on the season, 3-0 in the TCC.
Peotone 54, Reed-Custer 42: At Peotone, the Comets saw a one-point halftime lead get away as they fell in the Illinois Central Eight contest. Jacob Reardon had another big night with 18 points and 18 rebounds to lead RC (2-9, 0-5). Peotone picked up its first conference win and is 3-6 overall, 1-3 in the ICE.
St. Patrick 58, Joliet Catholic 56: At Joliet, Bady Tunkel scored 14 points as the Hilltoppers dropped a tight one to the Shamrocks in an East Suburban Catholic Conference contest. Jayden Armstrong added 11 and Eli Passehl added eight for JCA (4-4, 0-3).
Homewood-Flossmoor 88, Lockport 62: At Lockport, the Porters fell to 6-5 overall and 3-2 in the SWSC with the loss to the defending Class 4A state champions.
Oswego East 53, Plainfield South 41: At Oswego, the Cougars fell to the Wolves in an SPC contest.
Dwight 51, Henry-Senachwine 34: At Henry, the Trojans improved to 6-4 overall and 1-1 in the TCC with the win over the Mallards.

Providence Catholic 49, Fenwick 36: At Chicago Heights, Molly Knight scored 28 points to lead the Celtics to a third-place finish at the Marian Catholic Holiday Classic. Taylor Healy added 11 points for PC (7-5).
Marian Catholic 40, Lincoln-Way East 33: At Chicago Heights, the Griffins fell to the host Spartans in the championship of the Marian Catholic Holiday Classic. Alaina Vargas and Emerson Nilsson were all-tournament performers for East (8-5).
Homewood-Flossmoor 46, Lockport 41: At Flossmoor, the Porters winning streak ended at 13 with the SouthWest Suburban Conference loss to the Vikings. Alaina Peetz led the Porters with 14 points and nine boards. Lucy Hynes scored 13 and Addie Way tossed in five for Lockport (13-1, 5-1).
Plainfield North 56, Joliet West 26: At Joliet, Kaitlyn Sedillo scored 16 to lead North to the Southwest Prairie Conference win over West. Anaya Patterson and Bella Garcia added eight points each for North (8-3, 3-2).
Princeton 63, Plainfield Central 20: At Ottawa, the Wildcats fell at the Ottawa Tournament to the Tigers.
Oswego East 84, Plainfield South 60: At Oswego, the Cougars fell to the Wolves in an SPC contest.

Coal City 54, Oakwood 10: At Coal City, the Coalers rolled to the nonconference dual meet win behind wins from: Owen Peterson, Cooper Morris, Brody Widlowski, Aidan Kenney, Noah Houston, Brock Finch, Landin Benson, Cade Poyner, John Keigher, and Mason Gamer.
Bishop McNamara 39, Wilmington 30: At Wilmington, Sylas Riedstra, Aaden Taylor, Logan Van Duyne, Will Wilson, and Josh Talley were among the winners for the Wildcats.
Sandwich 60, Wilmington 16: At Wilmington, Van Duyne, Riedstra and Oakley Rivera were the winners for the Wildcats.
Rex Whitlach Invitational: At Hinsdale, on the opening night of competition, Lemont, Lincoln-Way West and Minooka advanced wrestlers into Saturday’s finals. West currently sits in third in the team race. Brady Glynn, Max Munn, Shane Stream, Jakob Siwinski, DJ Freeman, Jimmy Talley, Nate Elstner, and Brnadon Bavrishna advanced for LWC. Robbie Murphy, Santino Capodice, Kaden Meyer, Aj Frescura, and Noah Avina advanced for Minooka. Judah Heeg advanced for Lemont.
E.H. Stech Invitational: At West Allis, Wisconsin, Joliet Central advanced two wrestlers into the finals. Charles Walker at 215 and Isaiah Kan at 138.
