Joliet home damaged in Sunday fire

The Joliet Fire Department responded to a house fire at 1113 Anthram Ave. at 5:40 p.m. on Sunday.

The first units arrived within 5 minutes of the call and crews found flames venting from a picture window in the front of the home, according to the fire department.

The residents were not home at the time.

Crews entered through the front door and the scene was declared under control at by 6:10 p.m., according to the fire department.

There were no injuries or fatalities to civilians and no injuries or fatalities to firefighters, the fire department said.

Fire crews from 1,4,5, and 6 were on scene.
