She gets along well with other dogs and likes children but needs a home with older children, as she can get excited and is still learning her manners. To meet Chestnut, email Dogadoption@nawsus.org. Visit nawsus.org.
Six-year-old Queen Bee was found as a sweet and friendly stray fending for herself outdoors. She is curious, outgoing and affectionate. Otis is a 5-year-old, 95-pound pit mix. He is a sweet, happy and loves to see his people and get pets. Otis has stomach sensitivities and must eat a fish-based diet. He also takes pain medication for arthritis in his back legs and is doing well on it. Claus is a goofy and sweet 2-year-old orange tabby that came to the shelter with his littermates in December 2022. He is nervous with new people until he gets to know them. Once he’s comfortable, he likes to roll around on laps and get pets. Claus' teeth were in poor condition and had to be removed, but he still loves to eat any and all food. Contact the Will County Humane Society at willcountyhumane.com and follow the instructions for the adoption process.
Meet Puddles, the purr-fect companion that embodies the best of playfulness and affection. With a sweet, kittenish voice, Puddles always reminds people of his need for love and attention. Puddles also loves to explore and play with toys. He gets along with children and other cats – and maybe dogs, too – making him a fantastic addition to any family.
Sam the Brave is a fun-loving feline with boundless energy that loves to race with his two brothers. He’s a devoted companion, adores attention and likes to sit on shoulders and climb legs. He loves his hedgehog toy. Sam the Brave will thrive in a home foiled with love, preferably with another cat or – even better – his two brothers, as all three would like to be adopted together.
