Frito is a sweet and petite 2-year-old, 40-pound terrier. Frito was found outside and brought to NAWS by a good Samaritan. He fed her for two weeks before he finally was successful in using none other than Fritos! She can be shy initially but will warm up after some pets and treats. She is laid-back, gentle and good with other dogs. Frito is currently scared of cats, but NAWS staff believes she may learn to live with them. Frito likes children and would be a fun addition to any home. To meet Frito, email Dogadoption@nawsus.org. Visit nawsus.org.
Asher is a sweet 1-year-old domestic shorthair that was rescued from a local animal control. He is gentle and friendly. He relaxes when given pets, and he will melt into touch. It’s unknown how Asher wound up homeless because he is clearly comfortable around people. Asher needs nothing more than to feel safe and cherished in a home. To meet Asher, email Catadoptions@nawsus.org. Visit nawsus.org.
Emma is a sweet and playful 1-year-old beagle that still has puppy energy. She needs an owner who can work on her training and manners.
