Sularski leads Lemont to win in Jack Tosh Holiday Classic: The Herald-News Monday Roundup

BOYS BASKETBALL

Lemont 70, Riverside-Brookfield 58: At the Jack Tosh Holiday Classic, Gabe Sularski had 32 points, six rebounds and nine assists to lead Lemont (10-4) to the win. Alanas Castillo added 12 points and seven rebounds.

Nazareth 60, Minooka 45: At the Jack Tosh Holiday Classic, the Indians fell despite 14 points from Jaden Boe, 11 from Zane Caves and 10 from Nate Gonzalez.

St. Charles East 67, Plainfield East 42: At the Hinsdale Central Holiday Classic, Kobe Jordan led the Bengals (5-8) with 12 points, while Joshua Stone added six.

Peoria 61, Romeoville 44: At the State Farm Holiday Classic, the Spartans dropped the championship game despite 19 points from DJ Porter and 10 from Danny Thompson.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Seneca 57, Wheaton Academy 51: At the Lisle Tournament, the Irish took fifth place with the win. Alyssa Zellers, who was named All-Tournament, scored a team-high 16 points for Seneca, while Evelyn O’Connor scored 11 and Lainie Olson added 10.

Coal City 51, Antioch 36: At the Lisle Tournament, Emma Rodriguez led the Coalers (10-5) with 15 points, while Kylee Kennell scored 14.
