BOYS BASKETBALL
Lockport 61, Lincoln-Way Central 54: Sophomore Nathan Munson led the Porters (13-7, 7-2) to the Southwest Suburban Conference win with 17 points and added three assists, while classmate Nojus Venckus sored 15. Senior Anthony Kosi had 10 points and three rebounds as well.
Lincoln-Way West 66, Andrew 61: Max Gabriel led the Warriors (10-10, 4-5) with 20 points in the Southwest Suburban Conference win. Wyatt Carlson backed him up with 17 points, while Nick Brezeniak scored 12 and Luke Schoppe scored 10.
Seneca 71, Newark 39: Paxton Giertz scored a career-high 42 points for the Irish (17-4) in the nonconference win. Sebastian Deering scored 12 points, while Brayden Simek scored six.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Lincoln-Way West 59, Andrew 34: Caroline Smith led the Warriors (16-5, 9-1) to the Southwest Suburban Conference win with 16 points. Joining her in double figures were Molly Finn with 11 and Mackenzie Roesner with 10.
