The community is encouraged to attend a public candidates forum for those seeking at-large positions on the Joliet City Council during the election April 1.
The forum will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 19 at the Joliet Public Library, 152 N. Ottawa St. in Joliet, according to a news release from the forum co-hosts.
Co-hosts are the Nonviolent Cities Project – Joliet, Speak Up and the League of Women Voters of the Greater Joliet Area.

New and college-age voters are especially encouraged to attend, although everyone is welcome to come out and ask questions.

Light refreshments will be served.
