Lockport 46, Homewood-Flossmoor 37: The Porters (22-4, 11-2) beat SouthWest Suburban Conference rival H-F for the first time in 20 years behind 13 points, five rebounds and six assists from Lucy Hines and 12 points and nine rebounds from Alaina Peetz. Katie Peetz added 10 points, while Evelyn Ingram had eight points, six rebounds and five assists.
Morris 52, Kankakee 42: Morris got 21 points and six rebounds from Landrie Callahan in the nonconference win, while Layken Callahan had 17 points and seven rebounds. Lily Hansen chipped in with six points and eight rebounds, while Tessa Shannon had four points.
Serena 42, Reed-Custer 24: Gwen Stewart had seven points and five rebounds for the Comets (10-13) in the nonconference loss, while Alyssa Wollenzien had six points and three steals.
BOYS BASKETBALL
Romeoville 63, Oswego 56: DJ Porter had 19 points and five rebounds to lead the Spartans to the Southwest Prairie Conference win, while Danny Thompson scored 18 points and DJ Hampton had eight points and seven rebounds.
Minooka 38, Plainfield East 37: Luke Paige hit the game-winning shot for Minooka with 21 seconds to play. Zane Caves led the Indians with 13 points and 10 rebounds, while Brady Hairald scored 10 points.
Bolingbrook 73, Plainfield South 53: BJ Pettigrew had 18 points, three rebounds, three assists and three steals for the Raiders in the Southwest Prairie Conference win. Davion Thompson scored 17 points, while Jayden Madden had 10 points and three blocked shots.
Lincoln-Way Central 75, Lincoln-Way West 62: Wyatt Carlson led all scorers with 26 points for West (11-11, 5-6) in the SouthWest Suburban Conference contest. Central improved to 17-7 and 7-4.
Lincoln-Way East 66, Sandburg 54: Brendan Sanders led the Griffins (13-8, 7-4) with 21 points in the SWSC win, while teammate Will Buchanan scored 14.
Homewood-Flossmoor 88, Lockport 55: Colin Miller had 27 points and 12 rebounds for the Porters in the SWSC loss, while Nedas Venckus scored 12 points.
Lemont 61, TF North 50: Matas Gaidukevicius led Lemont with 18 points in the win, while Gabe Sularski added 13.
GIRLS BOWLING
Plainfield North 2,845, Minooka 2,752: The Tigers were led by Kelci Keeton with a 674 series and 254 game, while Ellie Bolie had a 595 series with a 231 game.
