New Lenox tire and repair company hosting peanut butter and jelly drive for charity

Scott’s U-Save Tire & Auto Repair in New Lenox offering one set of free wiper blades to customers who donate a new and unopened 40-ounce jar of peanut, soy or almond butter, or a 10 oz jar of jelly.

Limit one pair of wipers valued at $35 or less per customer. Offer good through Feb. 28.

In 2022, all three locations of Scott’s U-Save Tires & Auto Repair held a holiday contest for nonprofits.

Customers were encouraged to vote for one of three charities per location for the chance to win first, second or third place in a series of possible donations.

“Giving back to the communities that we serve is just a small token of our gratitude for the loyalty and decades of support shown to our organization for four decades,” Sheri Templin, owner, said in a 2023 news release from Scott’s U-Save Tires & Auto Repair.
