5 Things to do in Will County: Music, anime, family fun and a few laughs

1) Youth ages 8 through grade 12 can hang out on Zoom with other youth through the Joliet Public Library’s Anime Club. They can test their knowledge with anime trivia or just discuss their favorite shows. The event is 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday. 2) Get an early morning walk inside where it’s warm. “Wake up & Walk” is back at the Dellwood Park Community Center from 8 a.m. to noon, Monday through Friday. Walk around the gymnasium of the center, located at 1811 S. Lawrence Ave. in Lockport. Lockport residents and Challenge Fitness members get in free. Non-resident price is $2. Please bring ID. 3) The C.W. Avery Family YMCA will host a “Winter Wonderland” family night from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday night at the Y, located at 15120 Wallin Drive in Plainfield. Enjoy a winter-themed night with games and a hot cocoa bar. The event is free. Space is limited. Registration and facemasks are required. 4) American country music singer Easton Corbin will perform at Skooters RoadHouse at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Skooters RoadHouse is located at 700 W. Jefferson St. in Shorewood. Tickets are $25.
