Two staff members have recently joined Troy Community School District 30-C.
Kristine Hutten is the new director of finance. Ryan Newberry is the new assistant director of special education.
The Troy 30-C school board recently approved personnel for these two positions, according to a news release from the school district.
Hutton is replacing Troy 30-C’s former finance director Ellen Wandless. Hutton was previously the payroll and grant specialist at Troy 30-C.
Before coming to Troy, Hutton worked as an accounting and investment coordinator for Naperville Community Unit School District 203.
She attended Lewis University in Romeoville, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration.
Newberry will begin as the assistant director of special education at Troy 30-C on July 1.
He is currently serving two Troy 30-C schools — at William B. Orenic Intermediate School and Troy Middle School — as a special education coordinator with Southern Will County Cooperative for Special Education.
Newberry also taught special education at Valley View School District 365 before working with S.O.W.I.C.
He attended Lewis University, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts and Science degree in special education and elementary education and his Master of Science degree in educational leadership.
