Biscuit is a sweet 8-year-old who likes to play with string toys. She does well with other cats. Since she’s shy around people, she needs a family who’s willing to be very patient and give her the time and space she needs to get used to her new home. She also needs a special diet for kidney support. She’s quiet and likes to be petted if you take it slow and easy. To meet Biscuit, contact Humane Haven Animal Shelter at hhas.org or 630-378-4208.

Koko is a 4-year-old female lab mix that is good with dogs, cats and children. She is potty-trained and good on a leash. She can be a little timid meeting new people, but she quickly comes out of her shell and shows her sweet personality. To meet Koko, email Stacy at stacy@nawsus.org. Visit nawsus.org.

Elsie is a 3-year-old tabico that can initially be a little shy. If you go slowly with her, she loves attention and will give affectionate head rubs. With patience, her friendly and adorable personality shows. To meet Elsie, email Delonda at delonda@nawsus.org or call NAWS at 708-478-5102. Visit nawsus.org.

Maggie is a sweet adult beagle/terrier mix. She loves her humans, but she can be skittish. Maggie needs a patient home and would do best if with no young children in the home. To meet Maggie, contact the Will County Humane Society at willcountyhumane.com and follow the instructions for the adoption process.

Jeff is a large male domestic shorthair cat who is laid-back and loves attention. He does not do well with other cats and would be happiest as the only cat in his forever home. To meet Jeff, contact the Will County Humane Society at willcountyhumane.com and follow the instructions for the adoption process.
