Lulu Bell is a 2-year-old terrier mix who is super affectionate, smart, sweet and playful. Lulu was found in November severely malnourished, had demodex mange (no fur) and couldn’t open her eyes. She ended up having surgery on both her eyelids. After some tender loving care, her fur returned, and she gained some weight; she currently weighs 50 pounds. She is now healthy, happy, walks well on a leash and loves to be near people. To meet Lulu Bell, email hopefultailsadoptions@outlook.com. Visit hopefultailsanimalrescue.org.

Paulie is a 10-year-old Chihuahua that was found as a stray. He is a little shy initially, but then quickly shows his lovable and friendly personality. He loves to be near people and will give sweet kisses. To meet Paulie, email Stacy at stacy@nawsus.org. Visit nawsus.org.

Freddy Mercury is a large 5-year-old tabby. He is loving and affectionate. He loves attention and enjoys pets. He is very talkative and will carry on a conversation with people. Freddy is FIV positive and needs to be the only cat in a home or live with other FIV positive cats. To meet Freddy Mercury, email Delonda at delonda@nawsus.org or call NAWS at 708-478-5102. Visit nawsus.org.

Max is an adult male American bulldog/hound mix who desperately needs a loving forever home. His former owner could no longer care for him, so he is back at the shelter. Max is very sweet but takes a while to warm up to strangers. Contact the Will County Humane Society at willcountyhumane.com and follow the instructions for the adoption process.

Halley is a young domestic shorthair who is sweet but a bit shy. She is so stressed out by shelter life that she is over-grooming and pulling out her hair. Please give this sweet girl a loving forever home. Contact the Will County Humane Society at willcountyhumane.com and follow the instructions for the adoption process.
