Will County rescues have dogs and cats for adoption

One-year-old Brynlee is the longest term resident of the shelter. She is playful and loves the company of other cats. She can take some time to warm up to new people but is quite loving once comfortable. To meet Brynlee, call Joliet Township Animal Control at 815-725-0333.

Shoebert is a 4-year-old male beagle/Lab mix who was dumped and found by an officer. He’s a spunky guy and seems to get along with everyone he meets, including other dogs. Contact the Will County Humane Society at willcountyhumane.com and follow the instructions for the adoption process.

Lizzy is a 5-year-old domestic long hair cat who is sweet and laid-back. She’s OK with other cats as long as they give her some space. Lizzy’s ears are permanently wrinkled due to an infection that was never treated.
