Long-tenured employee of Manhattan bank retires

Bee Robbins was the ‘face of the bank’

Bee Robbins retired from First Bank of Manhattan on July 8, after 40 years of service to the bank.

Robbins began working at the bank in 1981 and her most recent role was an IRA specialist. To many clients, Robbins was the “face of the bank,” Jack Kramer, president of First Bank of Manhattan said in a release from the bank.

“Known for treating each customer with a smile, Bee always made sure customers were provided with the products and services that best fit their needs,” Kramer said in the release.

She also volunteered in the community, supported various nonprofits and helped “families in need,” the news release said. Robbins often handled them money at major fundraising events and made sure that “every dollar was accounted for,” the release said.

Robbins plans to travel to Florida to visit family and friends and spend more time in the daily activities of her three grandchildren.
