Deborah Ziech recognized by Illinois Association of School Boards

The Illinois Association of School Boards recently awarded Deborah Ziech with its Master Board Member award, according to a news release from Joliet Public Schools District 86 in Joliet.

Ziech is on the board of school inspectors for District 86 in Joliet.

Each year, the Illinois Association of School Boards gives this award to school board members throughout Illinois “in recognition for the time and effort devoted to leadership activities and service to the public education community,” the news release said.

Ziech attended Taft Elementary School, Hufford Junior High School, Joliet West High School and St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing, the release said.

She began serving on the District 86 school board in 2003.
