The Plainfield Moose organization recently donated $3,000 to two different programs, both of which benefits students at District 202 in Plainfield.
These programs are the District 202 Bags of Hope backpack food program and the the Plainfield Interfaith Food Pantry.
Each week, Bags of Hope provides food to hundreds of students each week to make sure they can eat at home on weekends, according to a news release from Distirct 202.
The Plainfield Interfaith Food Pantry is run 100% by volunteers and serves approximately 180 families a month, according to its website at plainfieldfoodpantry.org.
