Health care professionals and their family members who are feeling burdened are invited to gather and share on Wednesday.

“It’s Time for a Rejuvenation of the Spirit” will be held at 7 p.m. at the University of St. Francis Motherhouse Chapel, located at 520 Plainfield Road in Joliet.

The organizer is Pat Meade, a longtime nurse at AMITA Health Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet and a board member of the St. Joseph Nurses Association, which represents union nurses at St. Joe’s.

The event will include time for prayer and quiet reflections as well as listening to the reflections of others.

The topic is “Be A Witness To the Word, Through Song, and Testimony to What It Takes To Be A Nurse in 2022.”
