The Troy Community School District 30-C school board recognized its November 2021 and December 2021 Students of the Month at the district’s January school board meeting.
“Students were selected on the basis of consistent effort, productive citizenship, positive attitude and participation in class,” according to a news release from Troy 30-C.
November Students of the Month
William B. Orenic Intermediate School sixth-graders Alexis Crandall, Austin Ludwikowski, David Meza and Isabella Wieher were named Students of the Month for November.
Troy Middle School seventh-graders Megan Gleeson, Mya Gomez, Ethan Steg and Zeb Zamoras; and eighth-graders Olivia Boyd, William Buchanan, Georgia Buza and Violet Freeman were named Students of the Month for November.
December Students of the Month
William B. Orenic Intermediate School sixth-graders Ethan Hogan, Aiden Kehr, Madison Pork and Griffin Schultz were named Students of the Month for December.
Troy Middle School seventh-graders Myla Devine, Abigail Fagan, Taryn Faulhaber and Lucas Torrens; and eight-graders Robert Asiamah, Natalie Clemente, Renzo Mayfield and Sarah Viamonte were named Students of the Month for December.
“For the honor, the students received Student of the Month certificates and pins, a Student of the Month pencil, and a certificate from Big Frog Custom T-shirts for a custom-printed Student of the Month shirt,” the release said.
