Joliet West H.S. interp team heading to IHSA state finals this weekend

The team earned 2nd place for its performance of ‘Hercules’

The Joliet West High School Group Interpretation team is headed to IHSA State Finals this weekend after competing on Saturday, March 19, 2021.  The team qualified for State Finals with a second place win for its performance of “Hercules.”

The group interpretation team at Joliet West High School is heading to the Illinois High School Association state finals this weekend.

The team competed March 19 and qualified for the state finals after earning second place for its performance of “Hercules,” according to a news release from Joliet Township High School District 204.

Kristin Blake is head coach for the Joliet West team, and Tony Nardi serves as volunteer coach.

The group interpretation members competing in the state finals are Braden Brophy (Hercules/student director), Kennedy Dorris (Megara), Jarrin Griggs (Zeus), Lesly Hernandez (Muse), Molly Murdock-Schey (Muse), Karis Posteluk (Pain), Gianna Ronchetti (Panic), Daniel Sanchez (Phil), Julia Slowakiewicz (Hades), Tiffany Trizna (Muse) and Bethany Yanchick (MUSEician).
