Barrington senior and USC commit Griffin O’Leary won the 100 backstroke title Saturday at the IHSA Swimming and Diving State Meet. Huntley's Gavin Heard won four titles in the AWD Division.

Jack Burke led team runner-up Plainfield by qualifying for state in four events, while Benet's Jack Larson won the 50 freestyle and qualified for state in two events and Oswego co-op's Tanner Stumpenhorst took second in the 100 butterfly to qualify for state.

Haley Stoklosa scored 12 points, and Lincoln-Way Central picked up a 36-29 win over visiting Lincoln-Way East in a nonconference girls basketball contest Thursday night.
