Sophie Kelner was among five Lockport girls to take home individual titles as the Porters won the team championship of Oswego East's Aaron Dudley Memorial Girls Invite. Woodstock was third, Oswego fourth and Oswego East fifth in the 24-team field.

Ottawa finished runner-up at its own Holiday Hootenanny Girls Wrestling Invite on Monday at Kingman Gymnasium. Morris captured the overall title, while Seneca placed fifth at the 37-team event.

Minooka's team took third place at the Morris Reindeer Rumble girls wrestling tournament, while Bolingbrook's Alejandra Flores won the 115-pound bracket to lead Herald-News area wrestlers at the event.
