Romeoville is JJC’s first permanent satellite campus. In its early years, “the Romeoville campus community was served through temporary leases at the Bolingbrook Town Center and Valley View School in Romeoville,” JJC said.

The Romeoville campus broke ground at its current location in 1992 and expanded the campus in 2017. The campus has cybersecurity courses, a 3D printing and virtual reality lab, and new certified nursing assistant (CNA) labs.

The University Partnerships and Degree Acceleration department is also at the Romeoville campus.
