Arcadia Cold Storage warehouse to break ground in Joliet

Arcadia Cold Storage will hold a groundbreaking ceremony Thursday for a new facility being built at 251 E. Millsdale Road.

The warehouse is part of the Joliet Logistics Park located along the east side of Route 53 at Millsdale.

Arcadia plans to employ 75 workers at the facility, according to an announcement of the groundbreaking.

A plat for the project approved by the city in March provided for a 295,000-square-foot facility to be built on 27 acres.
