Bailey was taken to the Will County jail after his arrest.
Bailey was last jailed on March 28 after an incident involving a car chase, police said.
Officers investigated the sound of gunshots in Joliet’s East Side on March 27 and saw a vehicle moving at a high rate of speed, police said.
A chase ensued and officers eventually apprehended Bailey, who was identified as the driver of the vehicle, police said.
Officers determined that John Hernandez, 19, “had fired a gun at Bailey’s vehicle,” police said in a news release.
