Scammers are calling residents from spoofed, or cloned phone numbers pretending to represent local police departments or other government agencies, Bolingbrook police said.

The Coal City Police Department said in a statement on its Facebook page Wednesday that the 800 block of Division Street was closed briefly Wednesday morning to allow the Grundy county REACT team to serve a search warrant.
