A nearly $2 million grant to Joliet Junior College, including $850,000 dedicated to scholarships, will allow the school to open a new Honors College program in 2025.

The public is invited to visit the Trackman Planetarium on the main campus of Joliet Junior College for free events held Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6-7 p.m.
