The struggles of hunger and economic oppression are integral to the story of the Irish and Irish Americans. We, the fortunate sons and daughters of ancestors gone before us, honor their memory by sharing our contributions with those in our local community who struggle today.

Irish Americans celebrate their perseverance through more than 700 years of oppressive occupation, extreme hardships, forced emigration and finally renewal. We celebrate the world-wide contributions and successes of the Irish diaspora in every facet of life, especially education, literature, social services, and charity.

The IASCW is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization offering people of Irish ancestry, as well as any and all community friends, the opportunity to share laughter, fellowship, heritage, scholarship and service to others.
