Plainfield Park District to open Ottawa Street Pool for summer season on May 29

Passes and daily admissions will be limited due to COVID-19 guidelines

The Plainfield Park District announced it will open the Ottawa Street Pool for the summer season on May 29.

Passes and daily admissions to the pool will be limited to Park District residents only and will require an online reservation due to state COVID-19 safety guidelines, according to a news release. The pool is located at 23820 W. Ottawa St. in Plainfield.

Pass holder privileges will include three days advanced online registration for two-hour swim sessions. Non-pass holders can register two days prior to visiting.

Daily admissions will be $5 for two-hour swim sessions.

The pool will be open Mondays through Fridays from noon to 2 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Visitors will be required to wear face coverings at all times except for when they are swimming or sitting in their deck chairs.
