New Lenox D122 board holding earlier meeting on Tuesday

The New Lenox School District 122 board of education’s regularly scheduled monthly meeting will be at 5 p.m. rather than 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

The meeting is to discuss its strategic and financial planning goals. The agenda includes superintendent initiatives, financial planning, facility planning, personnel/students planning, program planning, and board governance and board member initiative planning.

Tuesday’s meeting will still include regular agenda items including public comments. Those who wish to make public comments at the meeting will need to fill out a form and hand it to Superintendent Lori Motsch prior to 5 p.m.

Its executive session will consist of student, staff, overall district information updates, but will also include discussion on security procedures and use of personnel and equipment to respond to a potential danger.
