Kankakee man charged with possessing child sexual abuse images

A 35-year-old Kankakee man has been arrested on charges of being in possession of child sexual abuse images.

Illinois State Police Division of Criminal Investigation Zone 1 arrested Joseph L. Lookingbill, 35, of Kankakee on Tuesday, according to a release from the ISP.

The arrest was made at Lookingbill’s residence in the 2100 block of South Schuyler Avenue after an investigation by ISP agents, according to the release.

ISP preliminarily charged Lookingbill with three counts of possession of pornography, a Class 3 felony, according to the release.

A search warrant executed on electronics owned by Lookingbill revealed child exploitation material, according to the release.
