UrgentVet opening new clinic in Joliet

Owners with pets in need of immediate after-hours medical care that isn’t a life-threatening emergency will soon have another option than a veterinary emergency hospital when UrgentVet Joliet opens on Thursday.

UrgentVet Joliet will treat a wide range of pet illness and injuries as well provide end-of-life care, according to the UrgentVet Joliet website.

Fear Free Certified Veterinarians and support staff will care for pets during their visit, according to the UrgentVet website.

The Fear Free mission is to “prevent and alleviate fear, anxiety, and stress in pets by inspiring and educating the people who care for them,” according to the Fear Free website.

UrgentVet Joliet will be located at 111 N. Larkin Ave. Suite F. in Joliet and opened 365 days a year.
