Four Rivers in Channahon hosts Fossil Rock Weekend

Join the Forest Preserve District of Will County for Fossil Rock Weekend at Four Rivers Environmental Education Center.

Spend the days learning about rocks, fossils and the geologic time scale. View a collection of local fossils and decorate your own replica to take home and more.

The program will be held 1 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, and noon-3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16 at the Four Rivers Center, 25055 S. Walnut Lane, Channahon.

Free, ages 5 or older.
