Joliet Catholic Academy’s Class of 2024′s Homecoming Court was announced last week. The designations were just one of many festivities held throughout JCA’s annual Homecoming Week, which ran from October 1 through October 7.
The week began with the annual Senior Bowl Flag Football Game, and continued with “Spirit Days” (daily dress-down themes for the student body), two All-School Homecoming Pep Rallies, a Super Shadow Day, a Parade, the Homecoming Football Game, and the annual Homecoming Dance. At the latter, JCA students danced the night away with their friends and classmates. This year’s homecoming dance theme was “Under the Neon Lights.”
“Homecoming week was such a fun experience,” said Laura Pahl, Associate Principal at Joliet Catholic Academy. “The JCA school community really came together to show their school spirit and unity. Each day was filled with clever themes and activities. I hope everyone enjoyed making lifelong memories. I’m grateful to all the faculty, staff, parents, and students who worked together so much to make this week a tremendous success.”
The Joliet Catholic Academy Homecoming King and Queen were announced in front of the student body at the Pep Rally. JCA seniors Dillian Johnson and Claire Blotnik were crowned King and Queen.
Additional members of this year’s JCA Homecoming Court included Tessa Bebar, Amelia Cameron, Olivia Karnezis, Jordan Reeves, Emerson Ziesmer, Griffin Alessio, Hiram Grigsby III, Michael Hobbs, Max Hrvatin and Connor O’Donnell.
