1. A Christmas Carol: 7 p.m., Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m., Sunday, Billie Limacher Bicentennial Park Theatre, 201 W. Jefferson St., Joliet. 2. A Christmas Carol: 7 p.m., Friday, and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday, Plainfield High School – Central Campus, 24120 Fort Beggs Drive, Plainfield. 5. New Year’s Eve-EVE Party for Kids at the Museum: 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Dec. 30, Joliet Area Historical Museum, 204 N. Ottawa St., Joliet. Kid-friendly countdown with a balloon drop and music, arts and crafts station, DJ dance party, New Year’s party favors. Tickets are $12 for ages 3 to 12. This is NOT a drop off program. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Adults will pay regular museum admission price. Early registration is encouraged.
