Here are two things to do this weekend:

Invitational jam: Rock out for a cause during the Kerry Devine 5th Invitational Jam starting at 7 p.m. Friday at The Vixen, located at 1208 N. Green St., McHenry. The fundraising concert will have more than 30 musicians from bands such as Modern Day Romeos, Tennessee Whiskey Chicago and Jagged Little Pill. The audience is like a big backstage as musicians hop on the stage and play without rehearsing any songs. Proceeds will be donated to Turning Point Domestic Violence Services. Tickets are $15 for general admission. Check out more details and purchase tickets here: Vixenmchenry.com.

Oracle readings: Get an oracle and tarot card reading from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Astri Aura, located at 130 Cass St., Woodstock. The crystal shop will host Moon Travelers Tarot from Omaha, Nebraska, to sit and shuffle for oracle readings. Learn what perspectives need to validated or shifted for the new year.
