The first Korean corn dog restaurant in Illinois is now open in Aurora.

Two Hands Fresh Corn Dogs opened its 70th location, the first in Illinois, in late November. The restaurant is one of many Asian-themed restaurants and retailers in Pacifica Square, Aurora’s Asian-themed shopping district.

According to a news release from the city of Aurora, Two Hands is known for bold and innovative takes on the classic Korean corn dog. The restaurant brings a unique culinary experience with made-to-order and savory Korean flavors of corn dogs.

Two Hands Fresh Corn Dogs is located at 4328 E. New York St. at Pacifica Square Shopping Center in Aurora.

Guests choose their choice of filling from 100% beef sausage, 100% plant-based sausage, spice sausage, half sausage & half mozzarella, half mozzarella & half cheddar and 100% real mozzarella.

Then they select their coating from one of seven choices: Two Hands, Classic, American, Spicy, Potato, Crispy Rice and Injeolmi.

The dogs are then dipped and fried in the signature fresh batter and ready to serve with such sides as elote, kimchi fries and dirty fries. There are also more than a dozen options for slushies and bobo tea drinks.

“We are so ready to bring this favorite Korean delicacy to Aurora,” said Jon Moon, the owner of Two Hands Aurora, in the release.
